Jeff Mao and Tyler Ma, both second-year computer science students, developed a web-based platform that could help millions of online sellers save time and money.

Kanukolanu, a BS in Neuroscience major graduating in Fall 2023, has been awarded the prestigious DAAD RISE (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) scholarship to conduct research in Berlin, Germany, this summer.

Two Georgia Tech undergraduate students, Velin Kojouharov and Elizabeth Ross were selected for the ThinkSwiss award, which funds research in Switzerland for the summer.

SLS recently hosted an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) short course in Jackson, GA. The course aimed to introduce and review the basics of ABCD, which is an approach that focuses on working with communities based on their assets and strengths. 

In her role as a Residence Hall Director, she guides the Resident Assistants in implementing programming that meets the needs of the HP student population.

USG is offering two mental health trainings to all students, faculty, and staff within USG: QPR Suicide Prevention Training and MHFA Training. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to register for the sessions.

The workshop will be held April 17, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in the Exhibition Hall (Kirkwood Room, 273) and will provide attendees with strategies to engage and support first-generation students.

Shannon will assume the additional administrative appointment of Faculty Director for the First-Year Semester Abroad (FYSA) @ Oxford program this summer.

She will report to Dr. Ruth Yow and support Serve-Learn-Sustain’s service-learning and community engagement work by developing and maintaining relationships with off-campus partners and by designing, managing, and implementing related programs. 

Anna will provide campus leadership for coordinating the implementation of Tech’s new undergraduate enrollment strategic plan as well as a wide range of ongoing initiatives and special projects that impact retention, persistence, and timely degree completion.

Lorett will establish a comprehensive vision for academic success that aligns with Georgia Tech’s strategic plan, support University System of Georgia (USG) initiatives, and advance institutional goals for retention and completion.
