Meet Sarina White, our NEW Professional Development Associate!
Sarina White (she, her)
Sarina joined the Agenda for Children OST Team in May of 2023. She has more than 3 years of administrative experience working throughout the city of Boston. She also has 4+years of experience working with children at Artists for Humanity,
and most recently as a development associate. Sarina is the daughter of two immigrant parents who taught her the importance of having a great and supportive circle. She values the enrichment organizations can bring to an individual child all the way to the whole community. Sarina takes pride in coordinating events and ensuring data quality to further support the organization's mission. She is also very artistic and paints in her free time; hoping to inspire and show social equity in her work and art. sarina@agendaforchildrenost.org

Curious about how STEAM Projects help youth learn?
There’s a lot of talk about STEAM, STEAM, STEAM in after school programming. This workshop will look at how Cambridge youth programs are building STEAM habits of mind in young people. We examined Engagement, Persistence, Exploration and Curiosity. We asked about Identity and Belonging. We have two years of research to share, and we want to share it with YOU!

Participants will:

  • Be the first to see the full results of the Habits of Mind report, program observations and youth focus groups
  • Connect with other OST staff about STEAM programming
  • Be thought partners in determining next steps of the research
"Through a thoughtful blend of fun, experiential activities and discussions, staff will explore ways to enhance joyfulness, social connection, internal control, and active engagement in their work with kids and walk away with concrete tools to apply…well…the very next day."
