Folasaade Femi-Lawal, is a Senior Executive, Harvard Business Executive Education trained Digital Payment expert with more than 25 years experience spanning Retail Banking, Business Advisory Services and Telecoms. She is a fellow of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Taxation & Association of Enterprise Risk Managers of Nigeria. She joined FirstBank in 2012 and was appointed Head of Digital Banking Group in 2015. She is passionate about Financial Inclusion and led the team that launched digital payments to Rural Voluntary Workers in the northern region in partnership with UNICEF towards the eradication of Polio in Nigeria. She has to her credit the successful launch of FirstBank Virtual Card ,an innovative digital payment card in 2021in response to Covid Pandemic as well as the Award-winning integrated lifestyle Mobile Banking App, FirstMobile, the Product won both Global Finance award for ‘The best Digital Bank’ of Distinction for 2016, 2017, 2020 & 2021 as well as 2016, 2017 Asian Banker Award for the Best Mobile Payments & Best Digital Bank Awards. She is currently the Vice Chairman, Committee of eBusiness Industry Heads (CeBIH) where she also represents the Industry on the Board of Financial Services Innovators (FSI) a Start-up Fintech Association committed to building a talent pool of Developers to assist the Banking Industry address Industry capacity challenge on Technology Talents. Folasade was recently honoured with 2 global Awards (Outstanding Women in Management by United Nations Association in Nigeria and Top 50 Women in Management Africa by Women in Management Africa) in recognition of the positive impact of her work and contributions towards the empowerment and advancement of women across the African diaspora. Rachel Adeshina, CIO, First Bank Nigeria Ltd
Rachel is the Chief Information Officer of FirstBank. She is a seasoned IT professional with over two decades of experience in the design, development and deployment of Technology solutions. Rachel started her career at FEES Limited – an IT consulting firm - where she rose through the ranks to become an Executive Director. Whilst at FEES Limited, she was responsible for design and delivery of technology solutions for various clients in multiple sectors. She joined the First Bank in 2009 as Unit Head Business Applications Management and over the last 12 years, Rachel has held various leadership roles within the IT domains from Unit Head IT Application Solution through Unit Head Analytics, integration and MIS to Head Application solutions (which was subsequently carved out as CTO organization). She has had very deep and broad experience in IT management and played lead roles in the delivery of major critical IT projects in the Bank over the years. In 2018, Rachel was seconded to FBNBank Ghana as Country Head, Technology & Services (CHTS) for 3 years. In her role as CHTS, she oversaw the digital transformation of the tier 1 subsidiary leading a team of technology and operations managers to transform service delivery using digital solutions. On her return from the International assignment, Rachel was appointed Head of IT Centre of Excellence, providing production support and promoting adoption of enterprise applications. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Science Education and a Master of Information Technology degree from the University of Lagos. She is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and earned professional credentials from Rutgers State University and Ralph Kimball University both in the USA. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a professional member of the British Computer Society (BCS).

Dr Markie Idowu, CEO, Xpress Payments Solution
Dr (Mrs) Markie Idowu, the 2022 Best Fintech Female CEO is the MD/CEO of Xpress Payment Solutions Limited. She has over 33 years’ experience in Banking and IT. 28 of which was spent in the banking industry working for banks such as GtBank, Fidelity and Polaris Bank where she left as an Executive Director. Dr Idowu holds an MSc in Software Engineering with Distinction and Best Result from Aston University, UK. This was after graduating at 19 with a first-class degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, where she also finished as Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Science. Amanda Pullinger, Chief Executive Officer, 100 Women in Finance
Ms. Pullinger is the Chief Executive Officer of 100 Women in Finance. She leads a staff team and provides direction to 500 volunteer practitioners globally. The organization, which has registered members in 32 locations, is focused on empowering women in the finance industry and inspiring the next generation of pre-career young women. Ms. Pullinger is a former principal of Aquamarine Capital Management, where she was responsible, over a period of seven years, for managing marketing, investor relations and back office administration for two private investment funds. Ms. Pullinger is Chair and Non Executive Director of the Board of FlyPlymouth, based in Plymouth, UK. She also serves on the Board of the HALO Trust (USA) and as a Director on the Oxford University Alumni Board. She is Vice Chair of the Women’s Network Forum and an Advisory Board Member of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (Harambe).
