GRANTS

We continue to seek organizations that will join us in our efforts to help children in crisis in foster care. We’re excited to announce that Walmart has awarded J’s House a Local Community Grant to go towards our tutoring program!

We also submitted a grant request with Memorial Drive Methodist Church and pray they will be the next to join us on the Journey With J’s House.

We had the blessing of taking a road trip with our incredible friends from Boys and Girls Country to visit the Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch. With more than 80 years of experience in residential child services and a team passionate about what they do, it was a trip filled with learning and growing that will benefit the boys we’ll be serving.

A huge shoutout to Mattress Mack for giving the J’s House board a much-needed break from Hurricane Beryl! We had an incredible time celebrating the 48th anniversary of Larry Dierker’s no-hitter at the Astros game!

J’s House family, if you’ve not gone to the movies to see Sound of Hope yet, we strongly encourage you to see it as soon as you can. We had the honor to meet and talk with Lady Donna and Reverend Martin who spurred a church movement in the small town of Possum Trot where 22 families adopted 77 of the hardest to place children.

OUR FAMILY IS GROWING

It’s with great joy we introduce our newest Board Director, Stephen Brunner. Stephen brings over 20 years of executive management and board member experience in both private and public Exploration & Production companies. He has a heartfelt desire to serve children in need, merging commercial activity with charitable outreach

efforts. You can learn more about Steve and our other incredible team members on our website.
