OLLI’s own instructor, Joan Griffin, is joined by her two backpacking companions from that 2006 grand adventure, hikers and OLLI members, Jane Riedel and Caroline Hickson. Force of Nature is equal parts gripping adventure tale, personal memoir, and vivid nature writing.

​"La musique, c'est du bruit qui pense,” said French romantic writer Victor Hugo. "Music is noise that thinks." OLLI Orchestra takes you to the wide boulevards of Paris and the enchanting forest of Gascogne filled with nymphs and naiads. OLLI’s free concert introduces you to engaging music by (mainly) French composers.

New OLLI Field Trip!

Broadway Sacramento Presents: Six the Musical

Join us for this musical performance. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over!

We will provide roundtrip transportation on a Sierra College bus from the Rocklin Campus. We will meet at the Dietrich Theater and leave promptly at 11:00 am. Lunch will be on your own at a restaurant of your choosing prior to the show, which begins at 1:30p. Price includes bus transportation and admission.

Come Support OLLI and join us at the Lincoln Senior Health & Safety Fair, happening next Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 10am-3pm at McBean Park Pavilion in Lincoln. We will have a booth at the fair to help spread the word about all the benefits of becoming a Club OLLI at Sierra College Member. We hope to see you there!
