Functional Ceramics Recap 2023

Sunshine Cobb

Michael Kline

Held April 9–10 at the Wayne Center for the Arts in Wooster, Functional Ceramics Workshop was, as always, a fun and informative event. Presenters

Sunshine Cobb (Montana) and Michael Kline (North Carolina) demonstrated their throwing, handbuilding and decorating techniques to over 100 participants. Regional artist Mark Goertzen gave a terrific talk on managing a studio and retail shop.

We are always so thankful for the Wayne Center for the Arts staff and for our volunteers—Board members Charity Waugh and Brandon Knott, and Matt Neff, Tim Frederich, Cary and Stephanie Hulin. Stay tuned for 2024 details! It's going to be a good one!
