COURSE SELECTION FOR 2024-2025 |
Course selection presentations for the 2024-2025 school year are currently in progress with the school counselors. Please see below for the dates of the presentations, which take place in students’ Social Studies classes. Students select their courses in Aeries during the presentations; however, hard copies of the forms must also be turned in to The Dhanidina Family Student Services Office in the Humanities Tower, Room 101, with a parent/guardian signature by the grade level deadline. Forms received after the deadline will be dated and receive lower priority for classes, especially electives. There is also an accompanying parent presentation via Zoom for each grade level, please see below for dates and click here at the appropriate time to join the presentation.

Time is running out to register for OCSA’s second annual Career Expo, which will be held next Friday, March 22! Students in grades 10-12 should register ASAP for the career panels that most interest them, as registration will close this coming Monday, March 18 at 8 p.m., and space is limited. Each panel will feature leading professionals from a specific industry, who will speak to their own experience and professional journey. This is a great opportunity to learn about possible career paths, so don’t miss out! | |
Attention juniors and seniors: Prom 2024 will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach! Tickets are $85 and will be available on MySchoolBucks starting this coming Monday, March 18. Sales will close on Tuesday, April 9 at 11:59 p.m.
If you want to bring a non-OCSA guest, guest passes are available in the rack in front of The Dhanidina Family Student Services Office in the Humanities Tower, Room 101. Guest passes must be turned in by Wednesday, March 27 at 2:05 p.m. to Room T110. Keep in mind, the guest passes must be signed by the administrator of the guest’s school and their parents/guardians. You will also need to provide a copy of the guest’s ID, so we recommend starting the process now.

VOLUNTEER AWARD NOMINATIONS |
OCSA is currently accepting nominations for the 2023-2024 Volunteer Awards, which are presented annually at Season Finale, held on Saturday, May 18! Nominees should be individuals or organizations who have demonstrated ongoing commitment to OCSA through contribution of their time and talents, participation in fundraising events, or support in areas of special need. Don't miss this opportunity to nominate a deserving individual or organization!

OCSAFEST: AUDITIONS & APPLICATIONS | Calling all student performers, visual artists, and art vendors! The second-annual OCSAFEST is now accepting auditions and applications to be a part of this two-day festival! Presented by the Arts & Enterprise Conservatory, OCSAFEST is an inclusive, cross-conservatory music and art festival that celebrates YOU, our unique and talented OCSA students. OCSA NIGHT AT ANGELS STADIUM |
Don’t miss the first-ever OCSA Night at Angels Stadium on Monday, April 8. Join us for a special evening of baseball as the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Los Angeles Angels. Seating locations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A portion of all proceeds will support OCSA’s 17 arts conservatories!

Graduation Speech Contest
Would you like to give a speech at graduation? All interested seniors are encouraged to participate in the Graduation Speech Contest by submitting a written speech to Assistant Principal of Student Services Becca Freeland by Friday, April 12. Be sure to thoroughly review the speech criteria to be considered.

The Class of 2024 Graduation Information was emailed to seniors and parents/guardians this past Monday. It is very important that seniors and their families read this document carefully, as it contains detailed information regarding the remainder of senior year and graduation.
