OCAPICA at the APIAVote Presidential Town Hall

Thank you to APIAVote for having OCAPICA at the Presidential Town Hall and National Leadership Summit! By providing a dedicated space for candidates to address AAPI community members, leaders, and organizers face-to-face, the APIAVote Town Hall offers one of the rare opportunities for this impactful growing electorate to hear directly from those vying for the nation’s highest office.

Mary Anne Foo gave a speech unshedding hidden AAPI mental health needs during National APIAVote Presidential Town Hall. She shared a story about a small business owner who came to OCAPICA for help after facing dual challenges of racist harassment, and the mental health challenges that followed the harassment. We are so incredibly proud of Mary Anne for representing Orange County in this event!
