Please welcome Alix to our Personal Training team! Alix's goal as a personal trainer is to help individuals unlock their full potential and achieve their fitness goals in the healthiest way possible.

Growing up, Alix was involved in competitive rowing. This is what sparked her curiosity about exercise and how much our bodies can do given the right training. This passion for fitness and wellness led her to become a certified personal trainer.

Alix enjoys working with clients from all walks of life, each with their unique goals and challenges. Whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, or overall health improvement, she always listens to her clients and designs programs based on that.

Alix explains her philosophy as a trainer this way, "Everyone's body is so different and I really believe in finding what works for each person. Hitting your goals inside and outside the gym is a marathon, not a sprint. It will take time to do it right, but in the end the results will continue to show."

Giving Tree Update: Tree-mendous! Thank You!!!

Thanks to the generosity of OAC members and staff, we were able to bring joy to over 200 children and seniors in need this year. Every tag was fulfilled! Special thanks to Michaela for organizing the Giving Tree every year and the incredible helpers at the front desk who collected and helped organize everything. This was such a wonderful way to end 2023!

Dance into the New Year with Rebecca Uyleman!

Belly Dancing starts Monday 1/8 at 7:45 p.m. in Studio B!

We are excited to have the fabulous Rebecca back at OAC! She is highly acclaimed as a dancer and her classes have always been popular here. She has 17 years of teaching experience, including teaching at the Club from 2007-2020.

Rebecca's class is for every level of dance or exercise. She can individualize the movements for each person with modifications to match skill, interest and abilities. Her classes give a full-body workout for strength and toning. They include high impact aerobics with a fun-eclectic mix of world music.

For a great workout and learning experience, Rebecca focuses on Functional-All-Body Flow (FABFLow) and muscle memory. She breaks down dance moves into component elements for clarity and ease of learning. For more advanced students, she adds variations and more details on proper technique. Come join the fun!

Time to Sign Up For January Swim Lessons!

January is the perfect month to improve swimming skills or get started as an absolute beginner! Our first floor pool is warm and inviting, so it's a great place for lessons.

Private and family lessons are available for OAC members age 2 and older. Not only are lessons great for kids, but they can also help adults get started, improve their technique, or learn a new stroke.

For family lessons, please sign up for one swimmer and then let Michaela know that you want to add more family membersMindbody doesn't have an option to add extra people, but she can do it manually.
