Grand Reopening Celebration - Thank You!

Lap Pool Reservations Changing back to Mindbody

After careful consideration, we've decided to revert back to the MindBody platform for lap and family swim reservations. Based upon member feedback, the alternative platform we tried didn't meet expectations. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transitional period. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.


Here are key details to be aware of during the transition back to MindBody from Club Automation:


  • Effective Date: Lap swim reservations on MindBody will commence on Sunday, February 4th at 8:00 am.
  • Schedule Release: On February 4th, at 8:00 am, we will release the lap swim schedule for the next two weeks (2/5-2/18). Another release is scheduled for Monday, February 12th, covering the week of 2/19-2/25.
  • Two-Week Format: Beginning February 4th, we will start a two-week schedule, and the release day will shift to every Monday at 8:00 am. This change allows you to plan ahead with a two-week schedule.
  • To Facilitate a Smooth Transition: We recommend installing the MindBody app, creating a profile, and adding your credit card information to have it on file. These steps are necessary in order to use the Mindbody app to book a swim reservation.

Personal Trainer Highlight: Meet Leilani!

We are very pleased to have Leilani as the newest member of our OAC team of personal trainers. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer, with plans to pursue many other NASM certifications. She is also working on her BA in Psychology.

Her goal as a personal trainer is to make fitness fun and help clients discover that movement is a celebration of what the body can do, not a punishment for how it looks. She implements gradual changes in order to create consistency and make steady progress.

Leilani's training philosophy is based on the belief that no changes can appear on the outside until we adjust and learn to love ourselves on the inside. She leads clients on a holistic journey to develop self-efficacy and self-esteem, along with their dream physique.

She shared, "I started right where you are now. I lost over 85 lbs and have successfully implemented life changes that have helped me keep it off. During my fitness journey, I learned from a lot of mistakes. After my success at being my own first client, I decided to pursue the career of personal training to inspire and guide others! Now I have the experience and education to help you become your highest self."

Instructor Highlight: Meet Jenn!

Jenn has a new Les Mills CORE class Tuesdays from 4:30-5:00 p.m. in Studio A.

Jenn has been an avid mountain climber/trekker for many years. She became a guide on Mount Shasta in 2000. Jen was honored and motivated by helping others develop the physical potential necessary to achieve their mounting climbing goals.

This experience led her to helping people reach their potential in the gym as well. She has a new CORE class starting and she would love to have you join her. You'll get an incredible workout in just 30 minutes!

Outside of fitness, Jenn previously owned an environmental consulting firm. She holds a Master’s Degree in Biology/Zoology and is always looking for ways to inspire conservation efforts for herself and others.

During her free time, Jenn enjoys hiking, bicycle trips abroad, and cheering on the Seahawks.

Time to Sign Up For February Swim Lessons!

The days are finally getting longer. The sun is setting after 5 pm! This is a great time to get prepared for summer swimming by taking swim lessons now.

Private and family lessons are available for OAC members age 2 and older. Not only are lessons great for kids, but they can also help adults get started, improve their technique, or learn a new stroke.

For family lessons, please sign up for one swimmer and then let Michaela know that you want to add more family membersMindbody doesn't have an option to add extra people, but she can do it manually.
