Reiko Sudo has been the forefront of contemporary textile design for more than three decades. Sudo and her design team have offered a new perspective on the long and illustrious tradition of textile making in Japan.
Sudo was recently featured in a textile exhibit with two other designers at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum in New York, honoring her work in producing innovative and sophisticated design solutions for transforming pre-consumer textile waste into new and usable materials, re-purposing waste from different stages of the manufacturing process to create apparel and accessories.
