Message from Mother Annalise

Aloha Siblings in Christ, 

I am excited to present this first edition of our shared newsletter. As I have stated numerous times, I believe in collaboration and partnerships. We can accomplish so much more together, including sharing God's love with the Windward side of this island. It is not a secret that we have lots to learn. There will be trial and error. Sometimes, we will celebrate great successes. Other times, we will regroup and learn from the things that didn't work. 

Thankfully, we are not called to be perfect. We are not called to have all the answers. We are called to be faithful. In our life together, that is the goal. We will do our best to walk in the way of love—to love each other, to love everyone who walks in the doors, and to love everyone who doesn't. 

As we navigate the details, we must keep Jesus in the center of it all. We need to pause and see where God is working. We cannot forget to listen to the still, small voice and allow the Spirit to guide our steps. I ask you to pray for me as I take on this new role. Pray for each other. Pray for the communities that we have the privilege to serve. 

I look forward to this new adventure and can't think of anyone else I would rather journey with!
