Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
In light of the unanimous verdict today by a New York jury, deciding President Trump "guilty" on all 36 felony counts, may the shock of this verdict open up thinking by those with a national voice, perhaps even President Trump himself, that, in addition to appeals and hearings, we need to return to our Godly roots with God's Solution: repentance.
This verdict points out far more than just a kangaroo court and a political issue; it's a spiritual issue, as our forefathers, schooled in the Bible, would have understood. Repentance has been used successfully over 800 times in this nation's colonies, states and nation. The last such time for a national day of both prayer and repentance was in 1918, 106 years ago.
There are several God Solutions in His Word, but the classic speaks to this situation with President Trump and Biden today. " When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:13,14).
Pestilence includes moral pestilence. The Lord has sent us wicked pestilence- physical and moral pestilence-- in this nation to see whether you and I, His people called by His name, will repent and return to the Godly roots He planted. It's His Nation, birthed by His Miracles. As with every other nation on His planet, He loves this nation more than we do. He has a plan for it that has been thwarted by our culture's choice of demonic humanism over God's Word. Proverbs 14 and 16 predict this: " There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25).
During the Revolutionary War the Continental Congress held days of " humiliation, fasting and prayer" eight times. President Lincoln held three days of such repentance during the Civil War. Now we are in a "Spiritual Revolutionary War" that requires spiritual warfare, using His Word. It also invites you and me to speak to all we can reach, that a day of national repentance is essential at this last hour.
The root of the Liberty for which 1.3 million veterans since the American Revolution have given their lives to preserve America's freedom is the Messiah/Christ Jesus. Attending on the sabbath His synagogue in Nazareth, then picking up the scroll with Isaiah's words, our Lord said:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah),
Because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed(downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy),
to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the favor of God abound greatly].” Then He rolled up the scroll [having stopped in the middle of the verse], gave it back to the attendant and sat down [to teach]; and the eyes of all those in the synagogue were [attentively] fixed on Him. He began speaking to them: “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing and in your presence.” And [as He continued on] they all were speaking well of Him, and were in awe and were wondering about the words of grace which were coming from His lips; and they were saying, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” (Luke 4: 18-22 amplified)
Today, once you and I have repented and joined His Kingdom, His Holy Spirit indwells us, with His same Spirit of Liberty. It was that Liberty on which this nation was founded. May His Flame of Liberty be lit again! May we follow God's Solution, repentance, to return to the Godly roots which birthed this nation.
