Now at Howe: September 3, 2024

We will be closed on Friday, September 13

for a staff in-service day.

Howe Library News

Thank you, Mr. Gary!

Children's Librarian Gary Barton, also known as Mr. Gary, is retiring after 19 years of working at Howe Library. At a recent staff gathering, Gary said he started working here when the children's collection was located in the Mayer Room and was awaiting the completion of shelving in the new children's space. Now he leaves as we are nearing the completion of new shelving in the children's area.

Update: Children's Room to Reopen on Friday, September 6

Due to a shipping delay, the children's room makeover is taking longer than we hoped. We hope to reopen on Friday, September 6. We will continue to post updates on social media. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete this project.
