What's the best wine to pair with BBQ?
I've always felt you need a bold wine to dance with savory, peppery flavors coming off the grill, which is why I typically go with a Malbec with steaks and burgers. What Malbec doesn't go well with, however, is 100-degree heat. If you're looking for a lighter pairing that holds up to intense grill flavors, Solaro's award-winning 2020 Sangiovese just happens to be their wine-of-the-month for July and is definitely worth checking out.
