The annual fee remains the same for 2024-2025:
- General: $780
- Academic: $780
- Initial: $780
- Non-Practising: $390
How can I learn more about the renewal process?
Join our "Ask Us Anything" webinar: “Understanding CASLPO Registration Options: General Status, Non-Practising Status and the Resignation Process” on August 28, from 12 – 1 PM EDT. We’ll be on hand to answer your questions and guide you on different aspects of renewal, such as changing status, resignations, professional liability insurance, and more. What if I want to discontinue my registration with CASLPO?
If you don’t want to continue your registration with CASLPO, you should formally resign from the College. You can do this using our online renewal system or by sending an email to renewals@caslpo.com including your full name, registration number, a request to resign, and the reason for your request (e.g., retired, left the province, left the country, left the profession, changing your profession, on leave, etc.). If you resign from CASLPO and then decide that you would like to return to practice, even for a short time, you will have to reapply to the College. For further information about the implications of resignation, we encourage you to contact us.
Why does CASLPO collect my background information?
By answering our voluntary demographic survey, you’re helping the College learn about the diversity of our registrant base. We know that some of your answers may be personal, so we want to assure you that your individual responses are anonymous and not associated with your profile with the College. To help us answer your questions quickly, please be sure to include your name, registration number, and a detailed description of your question or problem. We’ll do our best to respond to all messages within two business days.
