Bestselling author Tess Gerritsen will discuss her brand new book, "The Spy Coast," in conversation with bestselling author Paul Doiron. A retired CIA operative in small-town Maine tackles the ghosts of her past in this fresh take on the spy thriller.

TPL Genealogy Club

November 15 @ 6:00 pm


Gerry Savard from the American-Canadian Genealogical Society (ACGS) will be speaking on “Strategies and Hints for Researching Your French-Canadian Ancestors,” with an emphasis on the New England area.

Gerry served on the Board of Directors of ACGS and has held officer positions of President and Vice President. As in the past, Gerry currently serves as a volunteer on various committees. Past president and vice-president of the New England Regional Genealogical Consortium and served as co-chair for two regional conferences held in Manchester. In 1991, at his father’s passing, Gerry became interested in his family heritage. Genealogy became a serious hobby, enjoying doing personal research as well as being a research volunteer at ACGS. Gerry has given many local lectures and classes on genealogy and DNA topics. Gerry also thoroughly enjoys his grandchildren and photography.

The Coloring Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm, in the community room. Registration not required.

Children's Book Writers' Group

November 1 & 15 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm


If you’re interested in crafting and publishing children’s books and stories, join us to participate with a group of likeminded individuals to discuss, critique, and broaden your children’s literature knowledge. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join. Registration not required.

Writers' Group

Every Monday @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm


Join us for a writing workshop! Expand your knowledge on writing; critique each other’s work; and get advice on the craft. New and long-time writers are welcome! This will be an ongoing program. The Writers’ Group will be meeting in the Special Collections room of TPL. Meetings will last from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm. Registration not required.
