A Note on Thanks From Raymon
To my Italian Friends,
Next Thursday Nov. 22 America celebrates a holiday called Thanksgiving. Families traditionally have elaborate dinners with roast turkey and various compatible foods. Vegetarians make other food choices.
It is a good idea for people to be Thankful for the good things in life.....but why only once a year?
Several years ago, I thought about this and decided it was something that should be done every day with no need for a celebration or extra calories.
I started each morning with giving Thanks for what I had and what we might need, and kept it simple.
To give an example, I gave Thanks for a good family & friends, a good place to live (a log cabin in the mountains), enough good food, a productive garden to grow the food, a water supply in my back yard, firewood (yes, I heat my house with a wood burning stove), tools and equipment to work with, rain to water the the garden, Nature Spirits on the land, and the ability to help people have a better life. And whatever else I might think of at the time, such as looking out the window and seeing trees instead of buildings and hearing rain and wind instead of traffic, for seeing deer and wild turkeys and wildlife.
I noticed after a short time, that I felt happier so I shared this information with most every client that talked to me.
This is why it worked. I focused my thoughts on what made me feel good rather than what made me feel bad. The first rule of success is: ‘Think of what you want, not what you don’t want’
You can do this every morning as soon as you wake up, because you are in the Alpha brain frequency, which causes your thoughts to have a stronger effect on your brain.
Here is a suggestion you can adapt to your needs.
“I give Thanks for a good family, friends, happiness, love, prosperity, freedom, fun, healthy body, food, good place to live, good clothes, transportation and opportunities to improve myself.....”
I would suggest you do this each morning and night and watch your life improve.
Happy Thanksgiving
Raymon
