NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER
Changes at WHRF
Our Executive Director, Emily Ahouse, is stepping down to pursue an opportunity to serve with the City of Cincinnati. We are so thankful for her leadership over the past year. She has been an amazing contribution to our team, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue working with her in her new capacity as Supervising Management Analyst in the City’s building and inspections department.

Samantha Reeves, currently the Director of Real Estate and Economic Development, will serve as Interim Executive Director. She is honored by the opportunity to continue serving the neighborhood in this new capacity.

If you see Emily around the neighborhood this week, be sure to stop and say goodbye!
Walnut Wheels
Walnut Wheels ventured out of the neighborhood to get her picture taken with some other famous local landmarks. When we got back to the neighborhood, we handed out healthy yogurt snacks from Walnut Wheels for the Frederick Douglass Elementary Panthers School PTO LockIn.
Paint, Create, Connect
Kids of all ages came out on a beautiful Autumn evening to paint and stencil the Walnut Hills Business District flowerpots.
Zone 06 Gardens, PopUp Produce, and Food Forest
The weather stayed warm and the Zone 06 urban agriculture gardens continued to pump out healthy veggies, greens, and flowers for the twice-weekly PopUp Produce Stands during the Food Forest grocery pickups. If you haven't already, like Zone 06 on Facebook here !
Don’t forget, Produce Perks are now available at Food Forest! You can also have your groceries delivered! FREE pick up or delivery around the neighborhood twice per week. This pilot has been made possible by the generous support of The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation. Download the Food Forest online grocery ordering app at https://www.foodforest.app ! Or stop by the PopUp PickUp for a tutorial (see the events list below for times).
