Yoga Basics

Amanda was 1st introduced to Yoga back in 1995. Having had been very actively involved in exercise, fitness and bodybuilding via healthy clubs, a fellow Yogi introduced her to Yoga and Meditation and it transformed her life. She loves remembering and reminding others of the importance of coming back to the basics, being true to YOU, honoring what the student needs for that moment for themselves, anchoring and finding joy and gratitude in the present moment, among other rewards that have come from the opportunities of teaching. Teaching is when she's truly present and it is the best part of her week. "Yoga heals me on various levels~ Physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I love watching others reap the benefits of a consistent yoga practice."

We are excited to begin this new program at Yoga Sanctuary. We are fortunate to have such an amazing community of yogis to choose from. We believe that this will give our community an opportunity to learn a little more about each other along the way.

Sue Wainscott

🧘‍♂️ Meet our Yogi of the Month: Sue Wainscott! 🌟

Sue Wainscott has been a member of our community for over ten years, a thought that amazes even her! Sue decided to begin her yoga journey fifteen years ago, and she has been able to find classes that support the mental, spiritual, and physical balance that she has been seeking her whole life. .


Before, Sue didn’t have much of an exercise routine, but Sue loves how practicing yoga and meditation can help her to remain calm and focused in times of high stress or when facing the unexpected. To still find novelty within her practice, Sue often practices in a “beginner’s mind” to build a familiar combination of physical postures and breathing techniques. Sue found that the instructors are kind and encouraging to students at all ability levels, and that she can enjoy the tough sequences and postures. "The variety of classes and workshops at the studio is great, and the instructors are all skilled and such lovely and kind people. You all are my motivation to show up and make it through traffic to attend classes


Sue will especially show up for her favorite class, Zen Zone Yoga with Lucrezia. She admires every beautiful Zen story told each Sunday and finds herself relating it to significant moments throughout her weeks.  🙏💫

Black Light Buti & Bēa

Buti Yoga incorporates cardio, dance, deep abdominal conditioning, strength and balance training, and traditional Yoga and Pilates elements. This all in one workout will facilitate inner and outer transformations. Dress in your favorite glow workout wear, black light body crayons will be provided! Energize before class with a tasting flight of BĒA's, an all natural energy drink with vitamins and adapotgens to help you refresh and recharge pre or post workout.

Reiki Level 1 Certification

Join Cristy Gilliame, Reiki Master with IARP and Tami Taliaferro, E-RYT 200/YACEP on a journey to learn more about Usui Reiki, an ancient Japanese Healing Modality. This foundational training is for people who want to learn and practice Reiki as a (self)healing method. Reiki is a natural therapy that anyone can learn and practice. Accessible to people of all walks of life, backgrounds and ages, Reiki can be a go-to method for anyone looking to bring more healing, balance and harmony into their lives.

*1 hour lunch break during event.

Intro To Handstand

This workshop is aimed at students who are interested in just starting out their handstand journey. Drills and exercises will be catered towards building a foundation of strength and body control. Students will leave with an understanding of proper handstand technique as well as a basic program that can be continued to further build towards their inversion goals.

Conscious Breathing for

Healing and Awakening

Breathwork is a means of inducing an altered state of consciousness

through full and connected breathing. An energy charge is created in the body, and as the energy disperses, it serves to release, or to cleanse blockages, both physical and emotional.

Yoga Sanctuary's Late Arrival Policy

Late entry to any yoga class is disruptive to your instructor and other students. Therefore, any student who arrives MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE, will not be permitted to enter class.
