We honor the past, we move forward to the future.  Our skill set, our legacy has been handed to us from generations past and it moves on to the next inheritors who push their will and bodies further to grasp it.  

Looking at my students, I see the future of Kung Fu.  It is in their able hands that I pass the treasure and wisdom that I was gifted with earnest determination.  At the same time, my inspiration not only comes from the future, but also from the past.  The advancements, the ingenuity, the genius that my teachers mastered is something I strive for and work to live up to.
