On October 15, we celebrated six years of business! Medley Inc. has grown so much over the years from one desk in a small loft to a trendy office space in The Heights with over 8 employees. For everyone who has been a part of this journey, we want to say THANK YOU! Here's to many more years of fabulous and successful agency life!

Babies at Work: It's Happening

We decided to do something different this year. Something to demonstrate appreciation for our hard working mommies in the office. Something to change minds. The positive feedback about Babies at Work has been overwhelming, and the story has been making its rounds, even making it to Yahoo! news. Thanks to Katherine Whaley of ABC 13 news. We proudly began the Babies at Work program to create a work environment that helps modern women sustain their lifestyles both in and out of the office. Not to mention all the joy the cute little babies bring to our daily work lives. Read the full press release  here.

Thousands Flock to Art Festival

 
Were you one of the 15,000 patrons who attended the 2015 Bayou City Art Festival Downtown? If so you were lucky enough to enjoy a weekend of amazing weather while surrounded by fine art, food, and festival fun! 
 
There is no better feeling then seeing months of hard work and long days come together. Our team had you covered via social media and we enjoyed sharing every memorable moment of the two-day affair with you.

Houston Literacy Program Inspires Future Leaders
 

 
This fall over 60 student authors and illustrators will be recognized at the READ3Zero 6th Annual I Write Luncheon and Book Signing event. Students from all over the country will gather to celebrate their literary works and be honored by the community. 

We have watched this event grow over the past six years and couldn't be more proud to be a part of it.  This year Neil and Maria Bush, of the Babrara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, will be honored for their work towards improving childrens literacy and a few of the young authors will read exceprts of their work.  Join us by purchasing tickets here.

Shop Local For The Holidays 



Can you believe we are already beginning the holiday season? This year we are lucky enough to work with Fresh Arts as they put together their  10th Annual Winter Art Holiday Market.

The holiday market offers patrons handmade and unique ideas to "wrap up" for the holidays. It's an alternative to the usual holiday hustle and bustle of gift shopping where instead there are dozens of crafted art and specialty items to choose from, designed by local Houston artists.

The Women of The Rose

We had the pleasure of attending the book launch for client Dorothy Gibbons, CEO and Co-Founder of The Rose. After many years of planning she finally put her words on paper and The Women of The Rose: The story of mammograms, miracles and a Texas non-profit that beat all the odds, became a reality. The book is a great read for all women as Dorothy offers many words of inspiration and motivation while detailing the struggles she endured as the female CEO of what is now the leading breast healthcare organization in Texas. Real Role Models Gala

The William Institute for Peace and Prosperity (WALIPP) and the Houston Association of Black Journalists (HABJ), joined forces to raise funds for education through The Real Role Models Gala. The evening emphasized the importance of role models throughout a students entire educational career. Anthony Anderson of black-ish gave a keynote address while Scott McClelland, President of H-E-B, Mary Benton, Marie Bosarge, Khambrel Marshall, Rashema Melson and Serbino Sandifer-Walker were honored throughout the evening.
