“I am grateful for what I am and have.
My thanksgiving is perpetual.”
~Henry David Thoreau

CALLING FOR A CLIMATE-FORWARD ARIZONA | The Dayspring S.A.G.E. team and Arizona Interfaith Power & Light invite members to join an interfaith gathering at our Tempe campus on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 6:30 to 8pm to discuss how people of faith can work together to offer a prophetic voice for climate progress right here in Arizona. Guest speaker Blaise Caudill from the Governor’s Office of Resiliency will join us to speak about energy efficiency programs in the state. Attendees will include people from congregations across the Valley, with Zoom participation by others living in Prescott and Tucson. LITTLE FREE LIBRARY BOOKS | The mission of Little Free Libraries is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library locations. We are collecting new and gently used books to refill the Little Free Library by our Giving Garden. Current children’s books are in the highest demand, as are young adult fiction. Please bring donations to the church office. | |

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO TURN IN YOUR 2024 PLEDGE! |
Sharing our pledge commitment with the church is important for these reasons:
- When people share their church giving plans with the church, then the people responsible for the church finances are better able to plan ahead for important church expenditures, such as salaries, building expenses, programs, activities, and missions.
- When you choose to make a financial commitment to the church and share it, it becomes a part of your plan for your life. It says I want to participate with my faith community in making God's world more peaceful, just, compassionate, and inclusive.
It is important to note that a church pledge is a non-binding commitment that can be changed at any time. People's circumstances change, sometimes making it difficult to fulfill a pledge. We just ask that you advise the church if you need to make a change to your pledge. Thank you for your financial gifts to Dayspring!
