The holidays can be an emotionally difficult time of year for individuals experiencing homelessness. But you can fill their hearts with cheer this season. Join us by creating special handmade holiday cards with encouraging messages. Kids and grown-ups too! This is a great kitchen table activity that will spark conversation with your children.

We will be collecting cards now through December 11th. Reach out to us with questions.

According to a recent report, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, found that 44.2 million people lived in households that had difficulty getting enough food to feed everyone in 2022, up from 33.8 million people the year prior. Those families include more than 13 million children experiencing food insecurity, up nearly 45% from 2021.



Our Full Belly Bags are a way of doing your part to tackle hunger in our community. These bags will be delivered to various food pantries & assistance programs in our area.

MLK Sock Roll Challenge

Jan 2024 Goal: 16,000

Are you up for the challenge?!

Register your school, class, team or group for our 8th Annual MLK Sock Roll Challenge. Socks are the number one most requested item in the homeless community. Each year, through our campaign, thousands of sock rolls are donated to those in need.

Click the link below for more information and to register! There is a $30 donation to join the Challenge which covers the cost of supplies that will be sent to you.

National Gratitude Month

November is National Gratitude Month and encourages us to embrace the power of gratitude. Research has shown that gratitude can enhance our moods, decrease stress, and drastically improve our overall level of health and wellbeing.

Operation Stuff-a-Shoebox

Now thru December 11th

Join our efforts in our 7^th Annual "Operation Stuff-a-Shoebox". Each box will benefit an individual experiencing homelessness. The boxes become gifts as the holidays approach.

Sandwich Campaign Update

4,783 Sandwiches!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our PB & J Sandwich Campaign! It was a tremendous success with a total of 4,783 sandwiches being distributed!

In honor of our partnership with GIANT and their 100th Anniversary, each Wednesday during the month of October, our volunteers boxes and delivered sandwiches made by YOU.

Each sandwich made its way into the hands of individuals experiencing homelessness in the Philadelphia area.
