"Masterful Networking"
Presented by Barry Demp
Networking: Many people think networking is the development of a system of personal and professional contacts that can be used to gain information and assistance only when needed. In reality, it is much more!
Networking is a lifelong process that can enrich us professionally and personally in ways we never imagined. Networking expands our view of the world; helps us take risks and reach new levels of accomplishment; promotes win-win situations; and encourages bringing people together in ways that make one plus one equal more than two.
Networking provides the structure, support, skills, and strategies needed to bridge the gap between ideas and actions. It can turn strangers into friends and build a world full of people who will take our calls, give us their time, and answer our questions. Networking can be useful in helping us reach our chosen destinations, whether they be making a job change, working more effectively with customers and colleagues, or building our own business.
Presenter Barry Demp has worked with over 1,000 individuals as a business and executive coach over the past 23 years. Based in Troy, Michigan, I earned the distinction of Master Certified Coach (MCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF) in 1999. I work with executives, business owners, and high-potential professionals to help them significantly increase their productivity, profitability, and life balance.
Resources and budgets have been disrupted; KPI’s haven’t. Nick Skislak will help us understand our new situation and share where he believes marketing teams go from here.
Key takeaways include:
Honest resource audit and assessment
Resource allocation strategies
Team building, educational opportunities and cross-training
How are you doing as this year is winding to an end? I just find myself taking a lot of deep breaths and appreciating as each day comes to an end that we are still working and helping our clients. Can you hear another one of my sighs of relief?😊
The kick-off of Marketing & Sales Executives of Detroit was a success. The Tuesday Zoom meetings have been very well received and well attended. If you have not yet jumped on one of those meetings, let me give you a bit of an update.
Our first two programs were brought to us by the award winning team of Gerry Weinberg & Associates with their Sandler Training model. For over 25 years they have been providing sales training, management, and leadership training to individuals and companies resulting in greater levels of personal and professional success. The first program, presented by Alana Nichol, Sales & Business Development Expert for Weinberg & Associates was Sales Training: Every Crisis Produces Winners and Losers. In that program we learned the plans you make today will dictate whether or not your team enters the post-crisis recovery phase in a prime position for success. Their second program: Why Salespeople Fail…and What You Can Do About it! was another huge success. The attendees walked away learning how to tackle the sales problems that we deal with every day.
On October 27th we were privileged to introduce to you Michael Crank, Corporate Catering Sales Manager for the prestigious Royal Park Hotel and one of the sales stars in the hospitality industry. The hospitality industry has been crushed by the pandemic...but somehow and someway Michael has been able to achieve success. One of his methods has been from his use of LinkedIn. In his program, Successful Strategies to Increase Sales via LinkedIn: The Digital Sales Cycle, Michael showed us how to bring the same authenticity online as you would in person.
Thank you again to all of our past speakers. Working together we will all help one another get through this time of crisis. Take a look at our future line-up of awesome speakers and register today. For now, these programs are offered FREE. Hooray! Hope you take advantage of them.
