New Visitor Check In System

We will be implementing a new visitor check in system beginning on Monday, October 23rd. All visitors will need to make sure they have a government issued ID to sign in as a visitor (state driver's license or equivalent). Thank you for helping us to keep our school even more safe and secure!

Kindergarten News

The kindergarteners welcomed several firefighters from Northwood Fire & Rescue. We shared all of the things we have learned during fire safety week. We know what to do if our clothes catch on fire, not to play with fire, and how to be safe if there is a fire. We even made a meeting place with our families. Being a firefighter is a great job. Pretending to drive the fire truck was fun, but their gear is super heavy!

We want to make your holiday season a little brighter! The Northwood Parent Teacher Group is sponsoring a Giving Tree this year! If you or a family you know could benefit from some help please contact Lynda MacDonald by November 30th. Please have names of family members with ages, sizes, and wish list items.

5K at Deerfield Fairgrounds on November 5

Fall Fun for Families

Catamount Womenaid will welcome runners, walkers, families, and spectators to the Deerfield Veterinary Clinic Catamount 5K on Sunday, November 5 at the Deerfield Fairgrounds. The course for the 9:00 am race is on varied, off-road surfaces in a scenic, rural setting. Children under 8 years old may join in the free Kids’ Run at 9:45.

Registration is open now at catamountwomenaid.org. The first 100 registrants will receive free hats and swag bags with goodies from area businesses. Preregistration race fees are $27 for teens and adults; $15 for kids 12 or under. Fees increase on race day. Snacks and water are free.

This 5K benefits Catamount Womenaid, a local nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to individuals and families with urgent needs in Barnstead, Deerfield, Epsom, Northwood, Pittsfield and Strafford. See catamountwomenaid.org. On Facebook: @catamountwomenaid and @catamount5k.
