Greetings,
What an amazing week we've just had! We enjoyed a fantastic 8th grade field trip to Camp Saginaw, hosted a visit from the 5th grade, celebrated at the Lions Club Student of the Month Dinner, enjoyed the Young Authors Celebration, and topped it all off with the 8th Grade Spring Formal—all in one week!
A huge thank you to our generous PTL for organizing and hosting tonight’s 8th Grade Spring Formal. We are eagerly anticipating an evening filled with dancing and fun!
On Monday, Northley welcomed our future Vikings for a 5th grade transition day. It was wonderful to meet our rising crew and see the excitement on their faces. This event also created leadership opportunities for our current students to conduct personalized tours and share their experiences as Northley Vikings.
We are also grateful to the Lions Club of Aston for hosting a dinner to recognize outstanding students from our community. Listening to speeches about their achievements and aspirations was truly heartwarming.
A reminder that Northley’s Choose To Be Nice Walk-A-Thon is on Friday, May 24 and the them is Memorial Day. We are fundraising for Aston American Legion Post 926, Tails of Valor, and the Wounded Warrior Project. Suggested donations are $1-$5. To further promote this event on Friday, we are having a patriotic spirit day: 6th Grade Red, 7th Grade White, and 8th Grade Blue.
Warm regards,
Ryan Buterbaugh
