Today, students were treated to an early dismissal, kicking off a long holiday weekend in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Meanwhile, our dedicated Northley teachers utilized the afternoon for a blend of safety training and data analysis meetings to enhance classroom instruction.

As we approach the conclusion of Marking Period 2 on Friday, January 26, we encourage you to take a moment to check Schoology and Skyward for your child's grades. This is a good time to provide encouragement for the completion of any outstanding assignments or make preparations for end-of-marking-period projects.

In the spirit of promoting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision for a peaceful and kind world, Northley is hosting a Spirit Week of Kindness. Each day will feature a special theme celebrating a key message of kindness, including Kindness gram messages to both students and staff. Please refer to the graphic below for more information.

Dental exams are mandated by Pennsylvania for grades K/1, 3, and 7. This program is available for students in grades K/1, 3 and 7 who have not provided proof of a dental exam within the last year. If we do not have the required dental information regarding your child, you may qualify for this program. (Please note we will not turn away any student in any grade who requires a dental exam.). In the age of the internet and digital technology, it is crucial to ensure the safety of children while they navigate the online world. This comprehensive training will equip participants with effective strategies to protect kids from online threats and provide a secure digital environment for them to explore, learn, and interact safely. By the end of this training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to create a safer online environment for children. Implementing these strategies will help children develop essential digital skills, stay protected from online threats, and navigate the digital landscape responsibly and confidently.

PTL News! Attention 8th Grade

We will be having an 8th grade parent meeting on 1/24/24 at 6:00pm in the Northley library to discuss the plans and, help from the parents, that will be needed for the 8th grade co-Ed bingo. If you cannot make it at 6:00, please come when you can. This is the big fundraiser to provide the students with the end of year breakfast, which is offsite. Also this money will provide them with their end of the year gifts….high school hoodies, etc. not sure what they will be getting till later in the year.
