Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance
Manistee City Council Candidate Forum
The Manistee City Council Candidate Forum on September 14th was a success! Thank you to everyone, we had over 60 people in attendance! We had relevant and valuable discussions about housing needs, business growth, economic development, childcare, and incentives for development.

Local government, like our City Council, has a tremendous impact on our community's current and prospective growth. These Forums help to ensure that we have forward-thinking leaders who are going to support development and incentives, focusing on the bigger picture.

Special thanks to all the candidates in attendance, our moderator Henry Wolf (Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance), refreshment sponsor - Blarney Castle Oil & Propane, and West Shore Community College.
Featuring (from left to right) Wes Smith (District 2), and Councilmember Lynda Beaton (District 2).
