Production Reporting

2023 Production Reports are due no later than Friday March 1, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

The Production Report Portal is now available here.

You must have your current cell phone number on file with the District to use the portal. Once you have entered the portal, open your reports and verify your information is correct. You can either fill out and submit your reports online or you can download a PDF file of the reports to print, fill out, and send to the District by mail to PO Box 795, Dumas TX 79029 or by email to productionreporting@northplainsgcd.org.

If you have issues, contact the District immediately. If you need in person assistance, please call us ahead of time at 806-935-6401 to schedule an appointment.

The 2024 Master Irrigator Class is Underway!

As of February 21st, we have completed 2 of the 4 sessions of the 2024 Master Irrigator Class! This year we have 19 participants, engaged in irrigation management curriculum to maximize irrigation management and conservation practices that work together to save water, conserve energy, build soil health and enhance their farm profitability.

At completion of the course participants will have the opportunity to apply for a cost share to help fund the implementation of one of the practices learned through the course in their own operation. Funds for the cost share are provided through grants funded by the Texas Water Development Board.

Meter Reimbursement Program, Crop Report Form for 2023

Those who participate in the meter reimbursement program are required each year to report crops and acres planted, and inches of water applied. Here is an example of the forms sent out by the staff in early February. The forms are required to be returned by April 1^st, 2024. If you need help finding the GPU that is participating in the program, you can use the districts new interactive map to look up your GPU by the number on the form. The interactive map can be found on the website or by clicking here.

Remember to give the map time to load. It may take a minute.

Additionally, there are training videos on the left side of the map to help navigate the maps various features.
