North FC and Sporting Chagrin Valley FA Announcement

North FC and Sporting Chagrin Valley FA have formally entered into an agreement to become one club for the 2024-25 soccer season. The newly unified club will operate under the name "North FC Solon/Chagrin" for teams playing in the Solon and Chagrin areas. North FC West will continue to serve players in Cleveland's western suburbs, while North FC Hudson will continue to serve players in the Hudson area.

Earlier this year, North FC announced its acceptance into the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) Regional League for the 2024-2025 season. This inclusion marked a significant advancement for North FC, presenting its players with greater access to competitive opportunities and a pathway for elite development within the ECNL's framework.

Building on this momentum, the unification of North FC and Sporting Chagrin Valley FA is a testament to the mutual respect and shared vision between the two clubs for advancing youth soccer in Northeast Ohio. By combining resources, North FC aims to provide increased playing opportunities across various platforms and leagues for all skill levels.

Kia Zolgharnain will continue to oversee the operations of North FC Solon/Chagrin as Director.

“Kia has been a cornerstone of soccer in Northeast Ohio. His expertise and that of his staff are unmatched,” says Attila Csiszar, Executive Director of North FC. “Our mission remains clear: to provide the best experience for all our players at North FC. This merger will enhance that experience by bringing together top coaches and families.”

Zolgharnain enthusiastically stated, "This union is a fantastic opportunity to unify our strengths and provide even better development pathways for our players. We are excited to build a stronger soccer community and continue our tradition of excellence."

This merger represents a significant milestone for youth soccer in Northeast Ohio. It strengthens developmental pathways for North FC athletes, ensuring they have access to top-tier coaching and competition. Additionally, it fosters a community united by a shared passion for soccer, enhancing both player growth and the overall soccer experience in the region.
