SCHEDULE REMINDERS!

As a reminder, in honor of the Memorial Day holiday, there will be no school on Monday, May 27.

Final exams will begin on Tuesday, May 28.

There will be two exams per day and students will follow a special bell schedule (see below). Students will be dismissed after the second exam. Students may come in late or leave early if they have an open exam block. Please note that there will be morning busing on these half days, but there will be no busing home. Please make arrangements for transportation home after the exams.

Students who are absent on exam days will coordinate their final exams though the Guidance Department. Make-up exams will be held on Friday, May 31.

·      Exam 1: 8:30 - 9:30

May 31 is the last (half) day of school. Students must report on May 31 to turn in all electronic devices: surfaces, cases, keyboard, and pens. Further information about device return will be shared with the students next week. No student is permitted to keep their device over the summer break.

Dismissal on May 31 will also be at 11:20am. Again, morning busing will run normally, but please make arrangements for transportation at dismissal as there will be no bus transportation home.

USED UNIFORM DONATIONS

If you have any uniform items that are no longer needed (graduating senior, pants too short, blazer too small, etc.) please consider donating them to the NC Used Uniform Sale. There will be a bin in the entrance to the school where you can drop them off. These items are sorted & then available to purchase by new & existing North Catholic families. The proceeds from the sale of these items are used for the North Catholic Christmas on Troy Hill charity event.

If you have any questions, please contact Becca at beccaanddan@zoominternet.net.

Thank you for your donations!

RE-ENROLLMENT IS OPEN UNTIL MAY 31st

FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE - ATTENTION CURRENT SOPHOMORES!

As the Seneca Valley Certified School Nurse responsible for maintaining the health records of North Catholic, I want to inform all 11th grade students that PA state law mandates that all juniors have a physical examination prior to the start of the new school year.

Please return a complete physical examination and updated immunizations to the school office on or before the start of the 2024/2025 school year. You may also email the forms to me at duersm@svsd.net . Please note that this paperwork is in addition to your athletic physical submission on Healthy Roster - the school nurse can not access Healthy Roster. A physical exam dated one year prior to the start of the school year will be accepted.

Important Update:

A 2nd dose of the meningococcal vaccine (MCV) is required before entry into the 12th grade. Students should be 16 years of age or older to receive this 2nd vaccine.

If you have any questions or concerns, I am best reached by email at the address listed above
