National Day of Prayer

Thursday morning, Chamber staff had the privilege of attending

the National Day of Prayer event hosted by the City of Bay Minette.

The event was sponsored by The Mayorโ€™s Prayer Team and coordinated

by Reverend Edna Dixon.

During the event, attendees were inspired by the words of Bradley Byrne, who spoke about how we can bring light and hope to the world during challenging times. Based on this year's theme "Lift up the World, Light up the World".

A special thank you goes out to all scripture readers, song leaders, and individuals who led us in prayer. We are truly fortunate to live

๏ปฟin a community with such great leaders.

Reverend Edna Dixon and the Mayorโ€™s Prayer Team hold a prayer meeting on the first Monday of every month at 8:00 am in the Council Chambers. The meeting is open to all who wish to join in praying for our city and state. This group has now been gathering to pray for 13 years! Thank you, Rev. Edna and the Mayor's Prayer Team for continuing to pray and uplift our community.
