Robertsdale, AL [08/16/2024]— Baldwin County 9-1-1 is pleased to announce that its year-long collaboration with Geo-Comm, Inc. (Geo-Comm), headquartered in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, is nearing completion. This partnership has been instrumental in validating and improving address information throughout the county, directly supporting the objectives of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) readiness at both local and state levels.

‼️BBB Scam Alert: Beware of post-disaster document replacement scam‼️

When coping with a disaster like flooding, wildfires, tornadoes, and other weather events, victims are at a loss for where to begin rebuilding and replacing belongings. Replacing vital documents like birth certificates, driver's licenses, Social Security cards, etc., is another task that can seem daunting. 

Better Business Bureau warns victims to beware of unsolicited offers of assistance in replacing these essential documents for an upfront fee. You could be dealing with a scammer.
