NORTH ALLEGHENY WELCOMES BRITTANY TAYLOR AS ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL AT NASH

Tonight, the North Allegheny Board of School Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Brittany Taylor as Assistant Principal at North Allegheny Senior High School.

 

Ms. Taylor brings a wealth of experience and arrives at North Allegheny from the Canon-McMillan School District where she spent the last two years as Principal of Canon-McMillan High School.

 

"I am thrilled to join North Allegheny and eager to contribute to the exceptional work led by Dr. Hyland, his team and a very supportive Board of School Directors," said Taylor. "I am truly grateful for this opportunity. I look forward to collaborating with the talented staff and engaging with the students and families to continue building upon the success of the premiere standard of North Allegheny School District. Go Tigers!"

Before ascending within the organization and assuming the role of Principal at Canon-McMillan High School, Ms. Taylor served as Assistant Principal and a School Counselor at her current district. Her outstanding support and exceptional commitment to the youth within the community led to her receiving the 2024 Washington County School Administrator Award. Prior to her six-year tenure at Canon-McMillan, Ms. Taylor began her professional career in education as a School Counselor Intern at Upper St. Clair High School and later served as a College and Career Specialist and Project Manager at Propel Andrew Street High School in Munhall, PA.

 

Ms. Taylor holds a Master of Education degree from California University of Pennsylvania and a Principal's Certification from Point Park University. She also attained a Master of Science in Homeland Security from California University of Pennsylvania and is actively pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Superintendent Certification from Pennsylvania Western University.
