Member Awards
Awards are open to members at all levels of educational preparation and licensure. Members who work with populations that include children, adolescents, adults or older adults are eligible for any of the following awards:
- Joanne Ruiz Achievement Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice
- Frank Lamendola Achievement Award for Nursing Leadership in HIV Care
- Researcher/Impact Award
- HIV Educator Distinguished Service Award
- Lucy Bradley-Springer Excellence in HIV Prevention Award
- Chapter Recognition Award (Use this separate nomination form.)
- Dr. Patrick Kenny Certified Nurse of the Year (Use this separate nomination form.)

DEI Student Fellowship
This fellowship supports a member of a historically under-represented racial or ethnic minority group in nursing or another health-related discipline who has a genuine interest in HIV/AIDS care and is interested in establishing a mentor/mentee relationship with an ANAC member. Fellowship winner will present a summary of their experience at the 2024 ANAC annual conference.
The deadline for awards nominations and fellowship applications is June 10. There will be no extensions to this deadline, so please submit ASAP!
