Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! As the month of May enters its second phase; we shall be concluding the Series we've been discussing during the past few editions of our E-Newsletter, about How to Conquer your Goliath and Not let him Intimidate you. In the last three editions, we stated that we need to be PREPARED before we could ever go out there to face any Goliath that is trying to Confront or Intimidate us. And as part of our Preparation, we stated that FEAR is the first thing we need to Conquer in our lives. After which we need to deal with & Overcome DISCOURAGEMENT and INFERIORITY COMPLEX - as part of Preparation to Conquer & Overcome Goliath. Having been gleaning from David's experience - what he did to be able to both confront and defeat Goliath; we shall follow in his footstep as we begin to step out to Conquer Goliath!

As David stepped out to face Goliath, he didn't Use the ARMS OF FLESH, rather he Used the WEAPONS OF GOD! After King Saul gave his consent for David to go & face Goliath, he gave David his coat of armor to wear to battle! This speaks of the 'Arms of Flesh' - which wouldn't work in this case. "Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head. David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried to walk around, because he was not used to them. 'I cannot go in these' he said to Saul, 'because I am not used to them.' So he took them off.' (1 Sam: 17: 38-39) David was never used to the 'Arm of Flesh'! He always depended on the Anointing of the Holy Spirit of God upon his life. He knew that flesh profits nothing; therefore he had no reason to depend on the Arms of Flesh. Any attempt to face Goliath with the Arms of Flesh brings one down to the level of Goliath; therefore the chance of winning is slim because Goliath is more experienced when you're operating at the same level with him. Goliath is already used to those arms of the flesh, so it is to his (or to the enemy's) advantage when you face him with them.

The Arms of Flesh include depending on any other means to be used to gain victory over Goliath - Independent of the Help from God - this could be depending on your own natural talents, resources, connections, influence, power, strategy, weapon, etc. The only alternative to the Arms of Flesh in defeating Goliath (i.e. the enemy) is depending on & using the Weapons of God! The Weapons of God available to us to defeat Goliath & the enemy include: the Authority we have in Christ Jesus - which is superior & higher than the enemy's or Goliath's authority; - the Power of the Spoken Word; & our Covenant Relationship with our God! Many people who are trying to conquer Goliath have not yet learnt how to use the weapons of God. It's time you begin to realize your authority in God & exercise it over the enemy! It's time you begin to speak vocally against your Goliath & the enemy, announcing your Victory over them through Jesus Christ! It's time to realize your Covenant relationship as a Child of God & challenge every activity of the enemy in your life based on your Covenant relationship with God! That's the surest way to gain the Victory over Goliath & the enemy!

I Prophesy over you that: You will Not Depend on the Arms of Flesh! God will give you Spiritual Victory through His Weapons! Never will Goliath or the enemy defeat you again! You are an Overcomer - in Jesus Name!
