3 Ways to Ensure a Successful Mobile Check Deposit

Our free Mobile Check Deposit service is a snap to use (literally)! Simply login to our free mobile banking app, endorse the check, snap a photo of the front and back of your check, and fill out the check information. It's that easy!

Here's how to ensure a successful deposit:

#1 - Endorse the Check Completely.

The back of the check must be signed by the recipient (same name listed on the check), and the sentence, "For Mobile Deposit FCCCU Only" needs to be written directly below the signature.

#2 - Double-check your dollar entry.

Make sure the dollar amount you enter into the mobile check deposit service matches the dollar amount on the check.

3# - Take crisp & clear check photos.

When taking photos of the front & back of your check, be sure the check is sitting on a non-cluttered, plain background, the lighting is good, and the check is positioned within the guides provided. After taking the photo, view it in your phone to ensure it's readable.

If your deposit declines and you're unsure why, an email will be sent to the email address on file with the reason code. If you're still unsure, please contact us.

Paying is faster, contactless & more secure when you add your First Class debit card to your mobile wallet.

Add your First Class VISA Debit Card to the mobile wallet app already on your mobile device, or download the app of your choice from your app store.

Direct Deposit Your Tax Return & Save

Getting a tax return this year? Congratulations!

Rather than putting the return on a plastic card for a fee, simply provide your account number and the credit union's routing number to have your refund direct deposited into your First Class checking or savings account.

Then, you can either login to Online Banking & watch for your refund to arrive, or set up an alert & Online Banking will notify you when it arrives.

We're one of the few locally-owned financial institutions in town that offer members a 24/7 contact center at 800-392-7122. These trained professionals are able to assist with many of your account questions and needs anytime, day or night. However, this call center is not staffed by our local team members, so they will likely request a bit more information to verify your identity, such as:

• Your full name
• Member number
• Social Security Number
• Date of birth

We understand that security is a concern for some members, so we want to assure you that this team of professionals are well-trained, highly vetted and very trustworthy. You are safe to share the above information with them, provided you initiated the call and dialed the 800 number published by us: 800-392-7122.

If you ever receive a phone call from someone asking for personal information or making threats/demands regarding your First Class accounts, hang up and call our local number at 515-224-4300. Our local and call center staff will never call you and ask for your account information, passwords or social security number.
