Would You or Someone At Your Firm Need an Ally to Coach Them Through a Job Search, With Developing Their Executive Leadership or With Some Element of Their Personal Lives?
This is the first issue on my new schedule of (approximately) the 1st and the 15th of each month. 24 issues per year, rather than 26. It is a little easier on me and will still be very helpful to you.
Last Tuesday, I gave a 90 minute talk to the sales and service group of a medical device firm. The speech was entitled, "It Starts with Courage," covered how we are conditioned to conform, playing bigger, employing The Castle Principles (TM The Secretan Center) as part of being effective, as well as quality goal setting.
Very well received and then I had to drive back to Asheville so that I could pick up my son after school because my wife was away. Full day!

Paying Attention to Signals During Your Search: 8 Signals to Look Out For
Coaching executive job hunters is a great way to be reminded of seemingly small things that become magnified in the course of interviews. I thought I would point out a few of the signals to look out for subtle signals that occur in the course of your job search, whether you are conducting an executive job search or a staff level search.
You've worked hard to get to the point of receiving a job offer but something doesn't seem right.
Or maybe you've gotten multiple offers and are finding it hard to choose between them.
Or maybe you just need the answer to something that's going on in your job search
I am available to work for you to help you make a good choice. One that works for you and not one that lines my pockets with money from a corporate client.
I'm available to answer your questions about your job search or how to do things better with objective advice based upon 40+ years of experience with helping organizations hire talent and helping people make great choices.
Objective advice and great questions that relies upon my experience in recruiting, my Masters in Social Work, my psychoanalytic training and experience, my knowledge of the search process, all of those resumes I've read, all those interviews I've done and negotiations I've been involved with.
