May 1st: Join us at The X Center for an open house! Free entry, fitness class demos, door prizes, and more! Ready to share your love for The X Center with your friends? Bring a friend to our Open House on May 1st starting at 8:30am! The day will include free entry, free fitness class demos, Yoga In The Park, teas from The Healthy Trend from 10a-1p, door prizes, drawings, and more!

May 7th: Get ready to dance the night away at our Father Daughter Dance, sponsored by Mac Dental, from 6 pm - 8:30 pm.
Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is coming to town! On Saturday, April 3rd join us and our event sponsor, Mac Dental, for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around for pictures too! The event begins at 10:00 am, with activities running until 11:30 am. Make sure you arrive early for your age division’s hunt time! The Easter Egg Hunt is free and open to all. Hunt times: 6 months - 2 years at 10:10 am, 3 - 5 years at 10:30 am, 6 - 8 years at 10:45 am, 9 - 12 years at 11:00 am. Please remember to maintain physical distancing and wear your masks!
T-Ball / Baseball / Softball

This is an instructional league that has been designed to continue a child’s all around development from t-ball to baseball or softball. Each division is a progressional step up from the previous division.

Season Dates: The six game season begins the week of May 10th.

Open To: The program is open to boys and girls ages 3 years old to currently in 6th grade (Must be 3 years old by May 10th).

Location: Rotary Park and Nixa Schools.

Fees: Members $42, Nixa Residents $47, Non-Residents $55.

Registration: Ends April 7th. Late registration from April 8th - 11th, with a $10 additional late fee.

Game Days:
3&4 year old T-Ball: Thursday evenings.
5 year old/Kindergarten T-Ball and/or Coach Pitch: Saturday mornings.
1st/2nd grade (boys): Monday evenings.
1st/2nd grade (girls): Tuesday evenings.
3rd/4th grade (boys and girls): Tuesday evenings.
5th/6th grade (boys): Monday evenings.
5th/6th grade (girls): Thursday evenings.
*Game nights are subject to change.
Swim Lessons

There are 6 levels of swim lessons. Each level has 4 sessions, with each session consisting of 8 total classes. Classes are held Monday - Thursday for two weeks. In case of inclement weather or holidays, Friday may be used as a make up day. Tadpoles and Intro to Swim are 30 minute classes; Levels 1 - 5 are 35 minute classes. Registration for swim lessons ends the Thursday prior to the session start date--space is limited! For details on each lessons, available times, or for private lessons--contact us! Fridays are reserved as rain make up days.

Fees for Swim Lessons are as follows: Members $42, Nixa Residents $47, Non-Residents $55.
 
Session 1: June 7th – June 17th
Session 2: June 21st- July 1st
Session 3: July 5th - July 15th
Session 4: July 19th – July 29th
Swim Team

Come join the Nixa Vipers Swim Team. Each participant will learn the proper strokes in order to propel themselves through the water. Practices are held Monday through Thursday: 10 years and younger from 7:30 am to 8:15 am; 11 years and older 8:15 am - 9:15 am. Optional swim meets will be held on Thursday mornings. All participants must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted.
The Swim Team will begin on June 1st, with season dates that will run to July 29th. Please understand these are tentative season dates as there are a lot of moving parts from aquatics center to aquatics center in our area. We are working diligently to solidify this season schedule to be able to provide everyone with a set schedule. We will be having a Swim Team Parents Meeting in the near future with a date to be determined. We thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to provide a great Swim Team season for our community.
The fees for the program are as follows: Members $60, Nixa Residents $65, Non-Residents $70.
Movie in the Park Series

The Movies in the Park series is presented by the Massengale Group. All movies are held at McCauley Park, begin at dusk, and all movies are FREE! Please bring lawn chairs or blankets. Concessions will be available for purchase. All movies are dependent on weather. No smoking and no alcohol.

Tennis Lessons

The non-contact, safe sport of tennis is great in terms of health and fitness. Tennis develops hand-eye coordination, balance, and body coordination. Moreover, tennis nurtures work ethic and discipline, all while teaching young players responsibility and sportsmanship. Former collegiate coach, Ray Still will instruct each participant and help build proper form and technique for each player.
 
Dates: Tuesdays, April 6th - 27th (Ages 6 - 11 meet 4 - 5 pm; ages 12 & up meet 5 - 6 pm). Thursdays, April 8th - 29th (Ages 6 - 11 meet 4 - 5 pm or 5 - 6 pm). Participants will register for one meeting day and one meeting time.
Open To: Ages 6 years old and older
Location: Tennis Courts at Rotary Park
Fees: $45 per participant
 Registration: March 1st - April 2nd.
Summer It Up!

Join Nixa Parks and Recreation for Summer It Up! The schedule is packed with field trips, activities, games, crafts, contests, guest speakers, and much, much more! The day camp is offered Monday through Friday (with the exception of Memorial Day), from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. The program is open to children ages 5 to 12 years old; entering Kindergarten - 6th grade.
 
Summer camp will begin May 22nd and end the day Nixa Public Schools start school for the 2020-2021 school year. The fees for the program are as follows: $25 (per family) registration fee, Members (per week) $96.50, Non-Members (per week) $110.
