Work has begun to repair the pool! We are hoping for a reopening date in early June 2024, if construction goes as planned. Stay tuned!

Cherry Street Stormwater

Crews have finished burying the new stormwater pipe from Rice Street to the northern portion of Cherry Street. They are now working on installing piping up to South Becky Circle. Once crews finish the installation to South Becky Circle, they will work to open Cherry Street to the public. Currently, new sidewalk has been poured along the southern portion of Cherry Street. It is anticipated that the roadway will open by mid-May.

This project is designed to fix flooding problems through an old area of town from North St. south to John Thomas School of Discovery (JTSD). Completion for the current phase of this project is projected for Summer 2024.
