Tallahassee nonprofit encourages young girls to 'Dare to Dream'

Since 2005, Dare to Dream Young Girls has served over 5,000 girls with afterschool programs, summer camps, workshop events and spa days. The nonprofit is dedicated to empowering and nurturing girls ages 7 to 11, into well-rounded young women, by teaching them skills and trades like fashion designing and cooking. The girls sit through etiquette lessons, babysitting workshops and art lessons.

Teen Science Cafe Fellows- 2024-2025

The Teen Science Cafe (TSC) Fellows initiative is a ten-month training program designed to help informal educators implement Teen Science Cafes in their community. Teen Science Cafe Fellows receive one-on-one support from TSC Guides to launch a cafe program and host three cafe events during the year. Fellows receive a $2,500 stipend to support their work!
