Hello Karin,

What a 2022 Legislative session! Jeanette Hensley and Rich Mauro did a tremendous job of tracking legislation and leading our group. They are working on a recap of the 2022 bills. We will be sharing this in the June 12th Sunday email.

Meanwhile, we have settled on the summer schedule of the Monday morning CCA Advocacy Committee Meetings. We will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Mondays from June though November. The meeting dates in June are:

Monday, June 27th

Our May 13th Older Coloradans Act (and other legislation) Celebration Breakfast at First Baptist Church of Denver is passed and it was AMAZING! We hope you were able to join us in-person or on the Live Stream.

Hate Free Colorado Survey

Webinar - Voices on Aging with Colorado Center for Aging

Join us for keynote speaker AARP-National’s Chief Diversity Officer Edna Kane-Williams presenting on diversity, equity, and inclusion for legislation, and the reveal of Colorado Center for Aging’s “Voices on Aging” Video Archive Project, sharing successes and concerns on aging in communities across Colorado. Colorado Center for Aging introduced the “Voices on Aging” Video Archive Project in February of 2021. It was so successful that it is now a centerpiece of our educational activities. These videos will inform, awaken, unite, educate, excite, and engage.

Join NLC and guest experts for this virtual series to get up to speed on what your city needs to know to improve digital equity, make investments in broadband infrastructure and internet access and take advantage of new federal funding for connectivity.
