New Moon Newsletter
6/16/15 Monthly Newsletter from Linda Heron Wind The New Moon in Gemini focuses us on communication and connection - a good time to gather in community around the Summer Solstice coming up on 6/21. While Mercury has gone direct, Neptune went retrograde on the 12th creating a watery, emotional backdrop for this New Moon. Perhaps it is a time of washing away anything that keeps us from open loving authentic communication! Opening fully Is the safest thing to do When Heart is speaking Catalyst for Change One of the channeled works I read from the higher beings that are assisting us these days, refers to the chaos that touches our lives from time to time (sometimes day to day!) as catalyst. I like that word because it feels more neutral to me than something like "challenge." When I hear challenge, it feels like something that will be hard and difficult - a test I need to figure out and pass. Catalyst feels more like an organic process that is taking place to create change and help me on my path to mastery of myself. It doesn't require much from me except openness and acceptance. An organic process seems to flow from one place to the next in the ripeness of the moment. An example would be a baby bird emerging from an egg. The eggshell could be seen as a catalyst for the change into a newborn chick. I doubt that the chick sees it as a problem or difficulty to surmount. Instead it feels the ripeness of the action of pecking, not before it is ready or when it has resisted long enough to make it a late action but right on time. Or a baby being born does not fight with the process even though it is being squeezed and pushed into its new environment. Instead it remains still allowing the catalyst to create the change. Likewise plants, in each part of their growth, experience catalyst to emerge from the seed, to break through the soil, to leaf out and bud, and finally to flower. Even in the loss of petals as the energy moves into the seed again, it does not fret or struggle. It doesn't worry if it will make it to bloom or be lost in the process. It allows the catalyst of the moment to move it and transform it in perfect surrender. When we are open and allowing with the catalysts that come and go, like water slowly eroding our false identities and structures and rearranging the landscapes of our lives, the next action to be taken - whether it is stillness or movement - seems to organically arise from within us. Catalysts for change Unexpectedly appear Transformation flows
