You, as an athlete, parent, friend, family member or supporter, are an important part of fulfilling our commitment to individuals with disabilities. 

Our mission is to build self-esteem, self-confidence and everyday life skills, therefore enhancing the lives of children and adults with disabilities through education, sports competition and new opportunities.

A Special thanks to the Nixa Community Foundation.  Champion Athletes of the Ozarks received a grant to help fund programs in Christian County.  We also received a grant to help purchase additional equipment for Project Lifesaver in Christian County.

Boston University spends Spring Break with Champion Athletes of the Ozarks
 
Ten students from Boston University  will arrive in Springfield on Sunday, March 10.  They will spend their Spring Break volunteering with our athletes.  The students will have the opportunity to learn about our programs, bowl with our athletes in Barry-Lawrence County, attend reading classes, bowl in Branson, test our skills in several wii competitions and attend a show in Branson.  While they are here they will tackle many jobs in our office that we simply never have time to complete.  This is the 5th year for Boston University to make the trip to Springfield, we are really looking forward to this year.

Champion Athletes of the Ozarks is pleased to announce a new slate of officers named to the Board of Directors.

Parents and Friends: As our organization grows, so do our expenses for our athletes.  Many employers will make a dollar for dollar donation match.  Please check with your employer today to find out.  It never hurts to ask.
