Your Input is Needed!

As the office gears up for a new school year, we are seeking your input on the AHC (Annual Heritage Conference). This conference includes lunch and multiple speakers speaking about homeschool or parent/family-related topics. In order to ensure this resource is desired or meeting a need in our community, we are soliciting feedback from all members whether you have ever attended an AHC in the past or not. Please take a moment and give us your thoughts on both the preferred timing of the event and/or whether or not you feel the event is meeting a need. You have the option of completing this survey anonymously. The survey may be found HERE.

HCS Lending Library News

We are not accepting any library donations at this time. We will be purging the library of items that have either never been checked out or are rarely checked out and making room to add more copies of items frequently checked out. Be looking for information about purged items in the weeks ahead.

There are still many titles available that are used either at an Academy or a Co-op Class Day. Be sure to check the library if you are looking to save money on curricula for next year. Visit the library on the library page on the website HERE.

2024-2025 Mentors Needed

Are you available to serve as an HCS Mentor for the upcoming school year? Mentors are paired with newer families as a point of contact to help with general homeschooling questions, HCS help and reminders, and encouragement.

Thank you in advance for your time and heart for helping newer homeschoolers in their homeschool journey here at HCS!

And THANK YOU to our Mentors for the 2023-2024 school year: Lydia Amos, Catrina Dowers, Holly Hedgecock, Heather Jensen, Sharon Jones, Juliette Lee, and Lisa Toleno.
