On Wednesday, October 26th, our Adult Evening Electrical Instructor, Peter Berkin, took several of his Electrical II, III, and IV students to the PECO Energy Electric Expo in Philadelphia. This biennial trade show brings together the electrical, lighting, and HVAC industries within the Greater Philadelphia region. We had 15 of our adult students that are enrolled in our Electrical Programs at the MCTS Assunpink Campus attend this "Powerful" event that included learning about the latest tools and resources required for code, making connections within the industry, and receiving complimentary samples, clothing, door prizes, and provided lunch all in efforts to promote and recruit our students as "Ambassadors to the profession." |
