Food delivery: Helping people where they live
Not everyone in need of food can make it to a food shelf - especially during the pandemic. Fortunately, we have food delivery options for people in need. Our monthly Mobile Choice program delivers food to people with limited mobility due to age, health and/or disability. People can easily sign up over the phone 651-430-2739 for this monthly program.

We're also supporting the Washington County - Emergency Food Pack Distribution. It's a new program in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. People can request a delivery by filling out a simple online form (https://tinyurl.com/w73ghxj) or calling the Washington County Food Support Line 651-430-6688.

If you know of anyone who could benefit from food delivery, please spread the word!
Give us the warm fuzzies!
There's a chill in the air and it's time for us to change our clothing program over from summer to fall and winter clothing. We're accepting up to two bags (or boxes) of cool-weather clothing for the whole family through our drive-up donation service. Coats, jackets, sweaters, jeans and other cozy apparel is welcome! We all get the warm fuzzies thanks to your generous donation.

We're also accepting food donations, including fresh, garden produce. If your zucchini, squash and herbs (or any fruits or veggies, really) are more abundant than you expected, bring them by!

Our donation times are Monday and Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m.

Feed the Valley Cook's Challenge - At Home Edition
Feed the Valley Cook's Challenge - At Home Edition is Friday, October 30. We invite you to join us (from the comfort of your own home, of course) for an entertaining and mission-focused fundraiser to benefit the programs of Valley Outreach.

This year, we're challenging YOU to be the cook! Don't worry, you'll have help from six amazing local chefs and foodies. They'll provide the recipes featuring easy to find pantry items with a couple "secret" ingredients. Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram pages during the month of October for more.

Register for free for this year's event to get updates and access to exclusive content like recipes and videos. Our online Dessert Dash auction will begin on Oct. 1 and you'll be able to buy a Feed the Valley in a Box beginning the week of Sept. 28.

Learn more at valleyoutreachmn.org/feed-the-valley/. We're still seeking event sponsors and have a variety of giving levels, too.
Volunteer with Valley Outreach
We're in need of volunteers! Help out in our warehouse getting food ready to go for our drive-up food distributions. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.

If you are a new volunteer to Valley Outreach, please fill out our brief online application. If you are a current volunteer, please sign-up for a shift using the Volunteer Sign-In link on the top of our website.
COVID-19 Response Update
Is your building open to the public yet? No. We're continuing to focus on distributing food through our drive-up service model and providing phone support right now. We're also accepting food and clothing donations through a drive-up model on Monday and Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. Our team is looking toward the future and developing plans to reopen when we can do so in the safest manner possible for our clients, donors, volunteers and staff.
Are you accepting donations? Yes. We're accepting clothing and food donations though a drive-up, no-contact model on Monday and Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. We're also accepting financial donations online and via the mail.
Do you need volunteers? Yes, please! Check out our website for more details. We'll be adding more volunteer opportunities regularly.
