Southern Idaho Hosts Business France

SIEDO hosted a trade mission for Business France, BPI France and 10 French companies this month. French companies represented biotech plastics, industrial refrigeration, water efficiency and cleaning, software for manufacturing, insect proteins, sustainable modular storage, end of line machines, packaging, biodegradable products and packaging blowing machines, all ag-tech value-added businesses looking at U.S. markets for matching their novel technologies and innovative solutions. Southern Idaho produces "All Things Food" and will benefit from developing future partnerships that could support Idaho businesses. KMVT covered the Business France press conference held October 16th.

#TeamSouthernIdaho

The Times-News ran a series of articles about Southern Idaho's community and economic development and how we leverage our resources and work as a team. The first article, TEAM SOUTHERN IDAHO: Working together to develop our economy - and community, explained the difference between economic and community development and introduced the four organizations that enhance our region's economic prosperity and improve our overall quality of life.

The second article RIVDA: Southern Idaho is growing into its future, and we're here to help, explains how RIVDA assists with securing capital, planning expertise and funding for infrastructure and quality of life projects.

The third article BUSINESS PLUS: Southern Idaho's secret weapon builds business, prosperity, shares history and highlights of our organization. Business Plus is a non-profit funded by private businesses to create economic stability and business growth opportunities.

The fourth article SIEDO: Building partnerships and economy, highlights past success and mission to create a resilient and thriving economy. SIEDO is a non-profit funded by Business Plus, the College of Southern Idaho, and the cities and counties it serves.

The fifth article REDS: Supporting our rural communities, explains support for rural communities by linking them to resources including the Idaho Department of Commerce, Idaho Small Business Development Center and RIVDA. REDS is under RIVDA and funded by its rural communities and grants from the Idaho Department of Commerce and Business Plus.

Our missions are different but work together to support our region's workforce, economic stability, and to be opportunities to our valley.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
