Technology Committee Top Priorities & Initiatives 2023-2024

NASWA’s Technology Committee released its annual top priorities and initiatives of state workforce agency CIOs for 2023-2024.

UI ITSC Steering Committee

The UI ITSC Steering Committee had its first meeting of the new Association Year Oct. 26-27, 2024, in Washington, DC. Approximately 20 members attended the two-day meeting, both virtually and in-person.

Workforce ITSC Steering Committee

The Workforce IT Support Center (Workforce ITSC) Steering Committee officially kicked off the new Association Year with a highly productive meeting held on October 18-19th in Arlington, VA.

Wage & Hour State Legislation Resource Announced

NASWA’s Wage & Hour Committee compiled a resource document of state legislation related to wage and hour from 2022-2023.

Registered Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning Group Hosts Virtual Meeting

NASWA’s Registered Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning Group convened a virtual meeting on Wednesday, October 25th with 45 attendees representing 22 states.

ICON Programmer Tech Talks

The NASWA ICON team has relaunched its series of the ICON Programmer Tech Talks, in conjunction with deployment of updated ICON cloud-based applications/exchanges.

National Labor Exchange (NLx)

The National Labor Exchange (NLx) and the Wounded Warrior Project recently entered a partnership to collaborate in shared veteran employment activities, one of which being a jobs portal. This portal will leverage the NLx job feed to enhance veterans’ access to a wide range of career opportunities. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting partnership!
